Dr. Kristy Greene

Dr. Kristy Greene was born and raised in Alabama. She earned her undergraduate degree in Zoology and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Auburn University. She bleeds orange and blue and is a die-hard Auburn Tiger. While at Auburn, she volunteered at the Southeastern Raptor Rehabilitation Center, where she worked in both education and rehabilitation of birds of prey, which enabled her to work with the eagle mascot that flies around the football stadium during the pre-game show!

Dr. Greene enjoys the eclectic nature of veterinary medicine. She gets to do both medicine and surgery on many different species of animals, and she sees the young, the old and everything in between. She employs gentle handling and fear-free methods. She especially likes to work with cats and dogs.

Outside the office, she and her husband have three children. They have a medically retired bomb-sniffing German Shepherd dog and a cat named Kit-Kat. And they stay busy with Boy and Girl Scouts and their kids’ sports. They are new to the area but have enjoyed their time here so far!
